Van Meeuwen has been a succesful specialist store in Persian and other Oriental carpets and rugs for years. The basis of this success is simple; a beautiful stock of different carpets.

Since years we regularly travel to the countries of origin. We know our way around and in time we have developed excellent contacts with the local carpet dealers.It is not the easiest way, but we are convinced that this is the best way for us to obtain the most beautiful carpets from each region. The result can be seen in our stores, and a selection can also be seen on the webpages below.

We duly realise that each hand made carpet looks different in each environment. In your interior a hand made carpet will look different tan in our store or on a website picture. Therefore we consider it only logical that you will only purchase a carpet after you have seen the carpet in your own home without any obligations. For years Van Meeuwen has organised sightings all througout Holland with the carpets of your choice. This is always free of any obligations, and with a good advise from our expert interior advisors.
